Last updated: 5 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data IGA GAMES collects through igagames.com and our games, how we use it, and your rights under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

2. What we collect on this website
a) Contact form. When you contact us we collect your name, email address, subject and message, plus the site language you were using.
b) Newsletter. If you join our mailing list we collect your email address and site language. We only email you about new game releases and major studio news, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
c) Analytics — only with your consent. If analytics is switched on and you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects usage data such as pages visited, device type, approximate location and session length. Analytics never loads unless you say yes.
d) Cookie and language preferences. Small cookies on your device remember your cookie choice and your language. See our Cookie Policy.
e) Technical data. Like every website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We use your IP address briefly, in memory, to block spam on our forms; we do not store it with your message.
We don't need sensitive information about you — please don't include it in messages.
3. Our games
Ball Buddy: Brick Breaker has not been released yet. Before it launches on the App Store and Google Play, we will add a section here describing exactly what the game collects (for example purchase records, crash reports or advertising identifiers), why, and which partners are involved. The game's store listing will show the same information.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never see or store your payment card details.
4. How and why we use your data
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Replying to your message | Contact form data | Legitimate interests (answering people who contact us) |
| Sending the newsletter | Email address, language | Consent — withdraw any time by unsubscribing |

Some of these providers are based in, or use sub-processors in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the UK, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge) or the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
6. How long we keep it

You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted
- object to or restrict our processing
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time (newsletter and analytics)
To use any of these rights, email hello@igagames.com. We will reply within one month.
8. Children
Our website is not aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their personal data. If you think a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it. Details for each game will be added to section 3 before that game is released.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and row-level security on our database. Only authorised IGA GAMES staff can see messages and subscriber lists.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy — for example when a new game is released. The date at the top shows the latest version.
